HRM Sponsored Athlete Wins at NEC

Adam Gellatly who is sponsored by Healthcare RM won in his age group at the Tri-show on Saturday 27th March. Adam was also 2nd overall in a very competitive field. Adam was participant 168 and clearly showed the field a clean pair of heals and also the rear wheel of his bike.

This was Adam's first race of this type and his result has resulted in keen interest from a number of magazines and a food channel. Why food Adam is training on a Vegan regime and as this is a little unusual for athletes then the interest is in the nutritional value of the foods Adam eats.

The NEC venture was an introduction to the sport of Triathlons as Adam is entered in the Ironman Competition in Germany in the summer.

Healthcare RM is the leader in Health Risk Management and not only practice what they preach in terms of lifestyle but promote health through active sponsorship.

The picture on the right is Adam with a plaque presented to him as a result of the competition. On Adam's right is Paul Howfield a supporter who will be riding with the Tour de Frog Team on the London to Paris ride for Action Medical research.

Tour de Frog Team in Training

Saturday 20th March saw two members of the "Tour de Frog" team have some very personal training in speed and stamina. Paul Howfield and Kevin Babb are two members of the team who will be cycling from London to Paris in aid of Action Medical Reasearch "Touching Tiny Lives" and part of the Healthcare RM Team.

Both Kevin and Paul had a 60 mile ride over the rolling Hereford and Worcester countryside with Adam Gellatly who is not only a Personal Trainer and lifestyle coach, but also a serious tri-athlete.  Kevin and Paul were both pushed and encouraged by Adam and completed the 60 miles in a very respectable time.

Other members of the Team will be receiving training from Adam over the forthcoming months leading up to the event in July.  The final day of the ride concludes in Paris the day before the end of the Tour de France.
