The smallest admirer of
Paddington enjoying the visit when the children at
Cheltenham College Junior School brought their bears to school to meet
Paddington. The children assisted with Action Medical Research, "Touching Tiny Lives" and enjoyed a picnic with
Paddington.
There was great excitement when
Paddington appeared in their assembly hall the atmosphere went from a quiet academic hush to bedlam when
Paddington's assistant invited the children to shout
Paddington's name to bring him out of his den.
Everyone had brought with them their favourite bear and some had brought other soft toys as well. The Headmaster, Mr Morris had his
very old and worn bear with him as well.
When the children were asked to name some famous bears, they included
Paddington, of course, Pooh Bear and the very
famous explorer Bear
Grylls. Now that was lateral thinking.
